Mella is here to challenge recruitment norms and do things differently. For us, so-so is a big no-no. We’ve seen enough to know that there’s a better way. We have a finely tuned understanding of what makes people and businesses tick, use our sixth sense to find the best fit, and always put people before profit. More than anything, we make it easy. So it’s better for candidates and better for business.

 

Mella takes its name from the Latin for ‘honey’. We’re inspired by the tireless work ethic of bees, how they come together and collaborate to reach a shared goal, and the utter deliciousness that comes from all that hard work.

Meet Abbie

Abbie founded Mella to disrupt how recruitment works for businesses and candidates.

Before setting up Mella, Abbie worked in sales, new business and national account management for local and global businesses. Four years leading a recruitment team in the Training & Development sector planted the seed for Mella – and growing a different kind of recruitment business.

Outside of work, you’ll find Abbie spending time with her family and friends, enjoying a G&T or a glass or two of wine. She balances fun with fitness, to keep grounded and stay focused.
